Main Truth: "God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. " Ephesians 2:8-9
Sisters In The Spirit was a divine concept spoken into the lives of five women. A primary message revealed to these women, “Encourage my daughters to be authentic with themselves and with Me.”
What does authenticity mean? According to Webster-Merriam, it means to be “true to one's own personality, spirit, or character.” Diving spiritually deeper into authenticity, it means to become self aware of your deep need for Christ because without Him you can not become your best, healthiest versions of who He created you to be from the very beginning.
Together, these five women became authentic with themselves and each other. By opening up and sharing wounds of abuse, neglect, abandonment, failed marriages, self-righteousness, pride, envy, jealousy, and repetitive patterns of self-inflicting and self- condemning patterns, these women bared it all in obedience to connect with one another and received the calling God had on their ministry.
Throughout each of these women’s lives, God has turned their past wounds, whether self inflicted or brought on by the hands of others, into a trajectory of undeniable stories of redemption. These women will tell you, that the very things Satan tried to use to push them away from their calling by binding them up in guilt, shame, and doubt, is exactly what God will use to heal and free them. These wounds are sometimes the very keys to release other women who share similar struggles & stories.
This all started with the movement of authenticity and courage in their faith and in their lives.
“God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet He also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, His holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.,So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are His lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.” Romans 8:27-28
