Why Sisters In The Spirit exists
Main Truth: "Stand up, for it is your duty, and we will be with you. Be brave and act.”
Sisters In The Spirit exists to lead women into a personal, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ to produce fruitful and abundant lives which overflow into their homes and communities. Sisters In The Spirit is a movement of authenticity - to help women grow their relationship with Christ.
Our plan is to create opportunities to connect, heal, and serve. To empower women to be the hands, feet, heart and voice of Christ right where God places them.
We are a group of women obedient to the direction of the Spirit and are constantly relying on His Word to light our path. Our hope is to point women to God and challenge them to live out their faith by becoming active in the body, specifically in a local church. We want to help women “grow up” from spoon-fed Christianity waiting to be served, to becoming the servers in The Church, their local church and in their community.
We are average ordinary women who encountered Jesus in different ways, but who have experienced God asking them, "You believe in me, but do you believe me? It's time to grow up and move to where I'm calling you."
We believe God is giving us a message - call back His daughters and wake them up. We are only the vessel to relay the message, pushing women back towards their calling, their communities, their families, and their churches.
“You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone. In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you yourselves also are being built up [into this structure] with the rest, to form a fixed abode (dwelling place) of God in (by, through) the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:20-22 AMPC

Jesus met her on a road of anxiety and over commitment, turning her faith from a spectator sport to a team player on the field. Samantha's mission is to encourage women like herself, "the overachiever-need to help everyone-over committed-never full" life into the abundant life Christ promises and trust Him through life's ups and downs. Samantha is a California native, married to her high school sweetheart and they have 3 school-aged children.
